Claude originally dyed it blue.I dont know how he does it.I have dyed other woods using the mek type dyes used to tint auto paints diluted in methanol to a concenntration that gives the desired shade in several light coats using an airbrush.thanks for the compliments on blue

How can I get ahold of Claude to ask? I've got a project that this would be an advantage to. I wonder if it's analine dyes? Anybody else know?

cjsdad yes it is a left handed Gatewood offhand. Are you a "lefty" too? Thanks guys for the compliments on blue.Hopefully I'll be able to post pics of several others soon.

Naw, I use the left side of my brain. My dad was a southpaw and I am somewhat ambidextrous but definitly right hand dominant. I asked if yours was a lefty because it kinda struck me as unigue looking. Very nice stock.
