Yep that little SP101 is a great little gun bit heavy in .22 got one in .32 H&R
mag. Tack driver almost as cheap to shoot as a.22, if you reload.
one # of wheel weights cast out to about 89 bullets. .2.5 grns of powder goes a long way as a plinker. .4 grns its a little magnum.

Now in 1980 I went thru the major split, I had to sell house, pay all outstanding bills and had to suffer the ignoble stigma of celibacy. Two of my favorites were a 41 with all accesssories and a 52. I sold them to a gun club member. I never replaced them.I still mourn them from time to time.

I'm in a different place at a different time and satisfy myself with less expensive pleasures.

To all of you with 41s hang on to one of the finest target pistols ever built.

I have owned about every colt rimfire revolver made with a few exceptions.

The colts have always been wonderfully accurate and always seemed to require more lavish care than any other makes. Mine always seemed to go out of time faster than any S&W or Ruger.

Handsome pieces, terrible grips I don't miss any of them. the only colts I love
are the 1911 and the 1st or 2nd generation Single actions.
