Doesn't that look like you are repairing a broken stock??Just wrap one layer of Vet tape around the stock. Where you want it.
Then use anything.. bubble wrap. Carpet.. foam..
Old tee shirt.. dish washing rag..
Lay it on..and wrap it up with more Vet wrap tape.
Very eazy to do.

It's veterinarian tape .. the animal doctors use to wrap Band-Aids it's a bandage elastic Band-Aids they call it vet tape works greatSo now, a question, what the heck is Vet tape??
I bought it from tractor supply.try shopping at your local feed stores. you should be able to find it at many/most of them, and save the shipping costs
Looks good, last long time.Vet tape adheres/sticks to itself. If you wrap a layer on your stock then lay, for example a log shaped roll of some soft material on the top the vet tape will hold the “riser” in place. Here’s one of my rifles with vet tape. Go to the web because it come in different widths and colors.
picture worth lots of words. Two dollars and sixteen cents for some Vet wrap tape..
Some carpet foam. (Free)..
Makes one heck of a nice 10/22 cheek riser.
That's one of the Brownells 10/22 stocks with the monte carlo comb. The comb wasn't high enough for my granddaughter to properly see thru the scope so had to add pipe foam and cover with an elbow sleeve. What is that wood stock? I the but pad behind the riser looks like an optical illusion of some sort?
