my three simultaneous and first 10/22 builds

All have MOA receivers. One has a RT barrel another has a F.J. Feddersen the 3rd is up in the air.

I have polished one of the receivers, the other two will have matte/satin finishes.

Any particular reason you're doing all three at the same time? Not that I don't like that kind of thinking, believe me, I do, just curious.

I knew I wanted more then one and for different purposes.
So building 3 at one time ment only one FFL transfer and shipping fee. And when components come from the same supplier ill save shipping cost there too.
So by building more ill save more (try that on your minister of finance). But it will take me longer to do, for what I have into this I could have one done.

I like that polished one. What did you polish it with? I polished the sides of my last MOA build with 1200 grit wet and dry sandpaper.
I put the wet sandpaper on a flat surface. The sides of the receiver turned out real nice and flat.

I started with 150 3M pro, then moved to the wet/dry at 220 grit. Then 400, 600, 1000, 1500 and now 2000. At 1000 I started seeing some very small inclusions. That were not apparent at the course grit. The inclusions are very minor. And at 2000 it is nearly a mirror shine. I finished up with Gliptone liquid metal polish, first the medium then the fine. The Gliptone really made it POP.

Well my wallet has been winning this one. But lately I have gained some ground. I have purchased all the trigger groups and scope rails. Settled on a Kidd lightweight for the third barrel.

I have started working on the sighting system for the RT barreled action

My inspiration was biathlon rifles

You get an idea what the sight picture looks like.

Right now I'm using a piece of wood for the front post witch I need to drill and tap to the barrel extension. Once I have the final height set. I will mill up an aluminum post.

Here is someone that went a similar route, but more of a sporting style.
