i ordered a regular ruger 10/22 action screw for my amt actioin only to find that it doesnt fit. where can i get a takedown screw for the amt action.

I can't help with where to get one... but if you haven't found one by Monday (gotta work this weekend), I'll pull mine and see what size and thread it is so that MAYBE you can find one to match it.

the factory screw on my AMT is a 10-32 with a 1" long threaded portion. They are available in most hardware stores in blued steel, occasionally in stainless.
