in your case it may be due to the amount sold and also brand. kinda strange its double in price.

subsonics here are slightly dearer (approx 10% for cci) but they are proberly more commanly used here than in the US.

i would disagree. subsonic rounds are no better or worse than their high velocity versions. don't confuse subsonic rounds (800-950fps ussually) with target ammo (~1040fps). target ammo may be subsonic but is made for accuracy (hence the larger price) not for its subsonic properties.
