Hello,

A few months ago there was a discussion regarding bedding. The article that was published is clear and well written but it deals with wood stocks.

I would like to know if:
1. Can the same procedure be repeated for metal stock (Say Anschutz)?
2. What bedding material should I use, does the Brownells can still be used?

Thanks
Eitan

I question the need to bed in an aluminum stock. I have one and I just torque the bedding screws to 5 Nm, fire away and it hammers the x-ring (If I can hold it there), If I were to bed one, however, I would think that an aluminum filled compound would be the best. Does Devcon make an aluminum filled compound similare to the Devcon Steel?
