Lets see those pics of your AGP builds. It's time for a thread dedicated to any build in an AGP stock... not just takedowns. I started this thread because I love them. It's simple; if its in an AGP stock, we all wanna see it!! :D

So here we go!

AGP stock in coyote tan with rubber butt-pad
Tactical Solutions fluted threaded barrel 16.5" matte black
Weaver rail 430T
Aluminum trigger housing swap with Volquartsen internals and Tacsol trigger
KIDD extractor, recoil spring and firing pin
Primary Weapons Systems T3 mag release
Power Custom extended charging handle (not pictured below)
Vortex Sparc with killflash and Butler Creek scope cover #4

Go here to see the complete chronicle of the build and more pics.

Got the XLR folding adapter and it was worth it!!! Added 1.7in to the LOP. I think I may cut it down an inch and see how I like it but I haven't decided yet. I'm going to take some better pictures when I get a chance but here is a poorly lit teaser.

can you put the weight of the chassis on your website :bthumb:

Could you please make this for the marlin papoose it would also work for the marlin 795/7000 if you did :bthumb:
I just ordered one of your chassis for one of my AGP TD's.

It looks like I'm going to need a gap filler to go between the pistol grip and my trigger guard. Agreed?

I put a Nordic Gap Filler on my Rhineland Arms Rail aluminum stock (seen next to my black AGP TD on the first page of this thread.) Hoping one of those will do the trick.

Any way I could get you to weigh your complete agp takedown
I'll try.

It will be a week or so before I get all of the parts in.

I'm going with an ARF collapsible stock and buffer tube and an ARF A2 pistol grip. I'll post pics when it's done.

I just posted this in the "Stocks" section, but figured I'd cross post it here, since there's a particular interest here.

Hey everyone. I've been tossing around the idea of building a SBR off of a 10/22. My plan is to use the AGP folding stock, but I'm a little turned off by the lack of forend for standard barrels, particularly bull barrels.

I was tossing things around in my head, trying to figure out how to easily attach a forend without modifying the stock, and the design of the Magpul V-block light mount inspired me. I decided to model it and have it 3D printed.

It would have a ring of some sort to slip over the barrel and a forend that screws into that. Here's my design so far.

The first has a top handguard, similar to that of an M1 Carbine. I've included MLok slots at the 3, 6, 9, 10, and 2 positions for mounting accessories. The design could be lengthened or shortened, depending on the users preference. I also have a Keymod design.

The second would be a less expensive option that just uses 2 bands for the attachment.

My question is: How much would you be willing to pay for something like this? I've seen a lot of people want a forend for it, and I would want it as well.

Also, what other options would you like to see? Keep in mind, being 3d printed, the less material, the cheaper it'll be.

I do not currently have a AGP stock, but I plan on buying one soon. The biggest obstacle would be the barrel. I'm limited in my funds right now, so I can't buy one to prototype from, but if someone would be willing to send me a spare bull barrel, I would be happy to offer you a forend in the design of your choice, once I've completed the forend.

Would it be possible for you to use a micrometer and measure the diameter of your AGP carbon fiber handguard?

I received my PMACA chassis today, and the front opening where my AGP carbon fiber handguard should slide in and have enough room to rotate (as to accommodate the ability to take the rifle apart) is too small. In fact, it's so small that I can't assemble the rifle into the chassis with the handguard attached. I have had to remove the carbon fiber handguard from my rifle and use the knurled nut to attach the barrel.

My AGP carbon fiber handguard is 1.883" in diameter.

I will also be contacting PMACA...

ETA:

On the AGP website, it looks like the standard diameter CF handguard is 1.75" diameter, and the low-profile CF handguard is 1.5" diameter. Just curious which one you have, ca18detsilvia, or if yours varies from those diameters.

I bought my AGP takedown kit before Ruger came out with the factory TD (several years ago) and am suspecting that the older AGP CF handguards may have all been a larger diameter than the current 1.75" standard diameter ones.

Just a heads-up if you have an AGP kit and are looking at the PMACA chassis for it. You might want to check your handguard diameter. Hopefully PMACA will post the maximum handguard diameter that their chassis will accept.

I went ahead and ordered AGP's low-profile CF handguard (1.5" diameter.) This is turning into an expensive rifle...

I finally got all of my parts and put my AGP Takedown 10/22 into my PMACA Chassis.

I am really impressed with the PMACA Chassis. I also own a Rhineland Arms aluminum Rail stock, and I much prefer the PMACA Chassis. I would describe the PMACA as sculpted as opposed to a block of aluminum for the Rhineland Arms.

And I have been really happy with the communications and assistance from PMACA. Excellent customer service.

I have also mounted my Charger, which is also based on the AGP Takedown with their 7.25" barrel and Micro CF Hand Guard, into the PMACA Chassis, and am very happy with that set-up, too. I see another PMACA in my future...

I apologize, I have been swamped lately and am just how catching up on here. My hand guard measures 1.632 inches and is what PMAC based their design off of. That's unfortunate yours is larger, I wonder why? Maybe if everyone could measure the diameters of theirs, PMAC can make adjustments to the design to accommodate the variation.

I don't feel I need a gap filler on mine, but I do have a KIDD single stage trigger which does have a wider trigger guard.

I purchased a used 2x Leupold scout scope that I am putting on but I haven't had a chance to cut down my EGW picatinny rail to clear. Once I do I will be posting some nice pictures of both set ups. Hopefully early next week.

Was thinking the same thing, but was concerned that the extra 1/8" clearance might be a problem.
AGP discontinued the larger diameter CF hand guard.

Weighed it this morning, as pictured on page 6 of this thread, less the magazine.

6 pounds 2.1 ounces

Decided to change things up a bit and pick up a Leopold 2x scout scope. It looks cleaner over all I think.

Looks nice!

I'm looking towards another AGP PMACA build, and am wondering if you had a link for your CF buttstock. Or at least the manufacturer's name.
This thread has me very intrigued. I haven't seen the AGP stuff until now. I was already planning on getting a PMACA chassis but I found the AGP stuff now too.
Im researching what I need and im totally building one. Im a wood stock guy but need one of these.
What is the total parts list i need to build something like Ravenlunatic and ca18detsilvia??
Having a little bit of a hard time understanding from the descriptions on AGP and PMACA websites what all I need to order.
I think I want the takedown type now but is there a way to attach a handgaurd using a non takedown setup with bull barrel?
Excited to put this together, thanks guys.
Got the final product yesterday!

This is what I'm wanting to put together. Very nice setup.
Does the folding stock adapter you added later lock up solid? I may want that too. Hope you don't mind me copying your build lol. I'll probablly add my own twist at some point
Anyone done a real accuracy test of the agp barrel from a bench?
Also when looking at ordering the front sight option is a whopping $90 add on. Why so much ? Or does it include the reciever mounted rail and sight too?
