I thought that CD's World Record Open Rimire HMR was based from a Volquartsen Magnum receiver.......Now you got me trying to find a picture of it.........

VQ does make them but they wont sell just the receiver. Or at least, so I'm told.

I have never seen any VQ magnum receivers for sale either, except as a complete rifle.

Scott @ VQ told me that they will be offering a Magnum Action kit similar to their 22 lr action kit they have now. Includes bolt, receiver and trigger group. He told me this a couple of months ago and he said it would be a few months before it would be available. I've already got a stock waiting for this new offering.
