if you wont a really accurate rifle that will shoot shorts get you a marlin 39 plenty of used ones out there. I like the older guns that dont have the rebounding hammer and crossbolt safety. Mine will put 15rds in a ragged hole at 50yds and is deadly on squirrels
Accurate.22 (and reasonable $$$)
Does anyone know of a reasonably priced (sorry, I have a hard time paying centerfire $$ for a rimfire gun) .22 that is accurate and will also shoot .22 shorts. I want to use it for squirrel hunting.
