I just ordered a 1957 or so Supermatic Citation. Can someone fill me in on this pistol? I have trouble keeping up with the differences in High Standard. From what I have read maybe I should have been looking for a Trophy. It sounded nice and I am here now, but am curious about all of the HS models.

You won't be disappointed with the Citation, the Trophy has a higher polished finish, other than that they are the same. My friend has both & I have shot them, both are great. You are far better off with an older Citation than a newer Trophy. I suggest you buy Tom Dances book @ about 25.00. A wealth of info. Worth owning.
