I needed a shooter and have always Loved 221 Fireball, so ordered this Classic 13 months ago and it just got here! Pleasantly surprised with the wood!

Did you order an upgrade for the wood? If so, what grade? If not, you truly hit the wood lottery. Beautiful!

I looked at my invoice and yes I upgraded one step up….. $300 additional but remember thinking that the upgrade probably wouldn't result in a very nice piece. I think it was worth the extra $

221 Fireball is a pretty little round. If I had to have just one center fire, that would be it. I have a Montana extreme in 221 . Easy to load for.

Agree…. I live in a rural area with a few neighbors relatively close. We have a variety of critters that on occasion need to be dispatched and a fireball is perfect! It has the perfect range for an area like ours, great ballistics, easy to reload and it is so much quieter than a 223, 22-250 or even my 204 ruger

Congrats that is the nicest Cooper I have seen of recent manufacture that was not sent to canyon creek.Truly a rifle to be appreciated. Definitely worth the 300 dollar upgrade if you could be assured you would get a beautiful stock such as that.

I agree but I have noticed here lately that Cooper seems to have returned to some exceptional wood, at least in several upgrades I've seen! I hope they can offer exhibition grades that is equal to the past! Granted prices are through the roof, but in all fairness if their Wood will match Canyon Creek then prices and wait times are at least equal. Leroy gas gotten so busy he won't even consider a small job!
