Well i had my 308 and the dyein rabbit call hoping to get a yote. I sat down and called and nothing came. I spotted movement across the alfalfa feild about 600 yards away. A yote, i put the scope focus up to 500 (as far as it will go) and on 24 power. I aimed at the spine and squeezed the trigger. BAMMM!! he fell. Then I went to get him ans took a break. I could see a gray squirrel about 100 yards away and I decieded to shoot him. I layed down and put down the harris. I aimed at his head and shot. He was gone. I mean his head. Then i got him and came back an sat down. then i saw a 8 point buck and 3 dows come through a little funnel. After i shot the 308 2 times! So all in all i had a good day.

No its just not fair.

I go out, and I take days thinking of where a good stand would be. I call (usually with a partner). And do I ever see anything. NO!!

It just doesnt work. i am however going to be getting several new distress calls. Rabbit for sure and maybe a squeker.

I did however, my first time, by myself did manage to shoot a yote. Thought I was good at it. been to 25 different stands since then. Seen some movement on a couple and few yip and howl after I was done calling. Oh well
