I have a remington 552 which has always been my beloved squirrel rifle. I recently started doing some rimfire bench shooting and bought an anschutz.

After shooting my anschutz my ol 552 feels like I need a crowbar to pull the trigger.

I realize my 552 will never have the trigger feel of my anschutz but has anyone had any experience with finetuning or modifying the 552 trigger assembly. Just take it to a gunsmith answer. Looking for experienced feedback.

Thanks in advance.

Ive got a 552

I was looking at the trigger, and I think a lighter return spring would help. I might try another spring or clipping a couple coils off the stock one. I'll keep you posted.
