I've got single shot 540-X that I got from my brother. Seems to shoot great. I pulled the action to see about adjusting the trigger. On the rear of the assembly is a screw that is probably for over-travel. On the front there are two slotted screws stacked vertically. Could someone tell me what they each control and which way lightens pull. I do know the safety tests to perform after adjustment, thanks to RFC.
TIA

Hiding in the Stickies

Doh !
To think that folks who ask the same questions that have already been answered is beginning to bug me, and then I go do the same thing. I guess because I searched on 540-X, the sticky wasn't found. Sorry I missed it hanging out there right at the top. Thanks BobD. I've got it printed out so I'll be ready to go right after work today.
