Please expand on "router" comment. I like the CZ's, especially the "FS" style stocks, BUT I'm spooked by the long list of folks that have out-of-the-box stock fit problems. Most of these seem to be due to factory QA, and result in the barrel being pushed to the right due to poor maching tolerances....
(This would be a BEAR to solve on the FS/Mannlicher stocks)

Hi all well i just got my new cz527 varmint in the h.s stock and what a nice looking rifle .. but it does not shoot.. 3 inch groups and that is not what this rifle should do. I have tryed 8 differnt kinds of ammo from 45 to 55 gr. shooting three five shot groups with each kind of round. the best was 2.875 and over. Came home and took the rifle apart to see what was going on the first thing i came across was that the front screw was tight real tight and the back one was lose..(removed the screws) next thing was that the barrle and reciver rocked in the stock when the screws were out ? Not good it moved about 3/16 of an inch in the back ,up and down. lug in front did not touch the at all was lose fitting there also. So i put the rifle back together and when tighting the back screw the mag.. would not come out when the back screw was tight ..so now i know why that was lose..So i glass beded the stock in front lug and the back lug only.. to stop the rocking, work good now i could tighted the screws and get the mag. out but still will not shoot at all .. and so on this is not good i payed a lot of money and got not much for it so far.. any help would be apreceiated

on the 527 cz varmint rifle that will not shoot.I have called cz gunsmith and he said that as long as the rifle fires when i pull the trigger that is all he cares about group size is not there problem.He also so said that it should shoot better then a 3" group but that is my problem not USA-CZ so got no help on that end at all he was nice about it but, i am on my own and the gun shop said the same thing not there problem to get it fixed.As in all thing that are mass-produced one or more will come out bad what i can't understand is USA-CZ there unwill to help get this fixed? Think i will dump this bad rifle on the market and let someone else get it, this will help USA-CZ and there name as a company that cares about what they sale. I have losted 600.00 dollars on this rifle next time i buy a rifle don't think it will be from CZ or that Gun shop.That is about all i can do and of course talk to friends at the Gun club i shoot at about USA-CZ and there help.CZ make a nice little rifle but there is no help when a problem comes up and thats were it stands as of today .
