511 price check.

The rifle is about 97% original. Asking price $150. What do you think? Bob.

At 97%, I'd say that's a bargain!! :t I wouldn't sell an 85% gun for less than that and I think there is a world of difference in an 85 and a 97% gun.
Of course it makes a difference if you are keeping it or trying to turn a profit. :)

Wish I could find one like that. 511 is such a neat gun. I have a Nylon 11 which is a 511 action in a nylon stock similar to a Nylon 66. Would love to have a 511 to go with it.

I just got back from picking the 511 up. It's even better than 97%. Looks like one box, at the most, was fired from it. All metal is 100%, wood 98%. The year mark area has a"C" that is a little higher than a "L" next to an anchor. I think it's 1942. It has the older sights, not the ramp front type. Gotta go out back now and shoot, shoot, shoot. Bob.
