I am once again in need of a scope or two. I am thinking of going with one of the new Weaver 3X9 AO rimfire scopes and will use it on a 10/22 equipped with a VQ muzzleweighted barrel. Anyone else using one of these? Is there anything out there in this price range that would be comparable?

I also thought of the new Simmons 3x9 22 mag but I just wonder how good it can really be for such a low price?

I have a Weaver 3x9x32 AO on my Kimber hunter, it is an excellent scope. This is the only non Leupold scope I Presently have, And I think it is as good as any Leupold rimfire scope I have, including the Leupold 3x9X33 EFR.

Buy it you wont be sorry.
Thanks Herb, that is quite a compliment to the Weaver! Seems like the 3X-9X is not too popular here , thought there would be more comments. I emptied the piggy bank and there was $150 in there so that will finance about 3/4 of the price of a new 3-9 Weaver AO.

Where did you order yours from? Also , does the 3-9 AO have the ability to close focus like some of the other Weavers? I have a Weaver V16 with increments down to 30 ft.
