I went back to the range this afternoon to shoot a few more groups with the Multi Match I bought yesterday. The winds weren't so twitchy and I wanted to regain the confidance that I lost yesterday, after that dismal session.
I shot these early this evening, in calm conditions, with my Anschutz 64 MPR wearing its new Sightron 24X scope. The inside of the center ring measures 3/8 inch, to give you an idea of the group sizes. The smaller one on the right measures about 1/8 inch.....center to center. Both are 5 shot groups at 50 yards. I'm much happier now.
This is more like it.

Here's one of the flies I popped a couple of weeks ago. It was with Lapua Multi Match also.

I sure wish we could get more of this stuff but Ron Hoehn only has a few cases left. At least I managed to snag two of those.
