16 1/2" sporters = Went fast!

They are now 'out of stock'.

People must be find'in out how good
these little barrels really are.

Make for a good after market add on
for a squirrel rifle or plinker.
and they don't add to the weight.

I am very pleased with mine and enjoy shoot'in a lot.

Now all I need is the fluted 20"
sporter,already have a 22" sporter.

Combined with the Deluxe Sporter
Stock,a good scope and a Kidd trigger,
it don't get any better.
In a 10/22.

plinker i have the delux 10/22 and i am looking for a barrel upgrade but it is mainly going too be for plinking or hunting .is this the barrel you recommend?what about the stinger barrel?i have done all the rest of the mods,vol hammer,vol extractor etc.thanks don

The Gm sporter barrels from WFMBS
that I have shoot very good.

I don't have the stinger barrel,just
the regular. Which is now 'out of stock'
at WFMBS.

Ken has said there is a 20" sporter
come'in soon,this one should be just
about right for a squirrel/plinker rifle.

Think I'll have to try one,sence they
are go'in to be fluted,should look good.

What kind of groups are you getting at 50yds? Are they on par with the .920 barrels?

Work and rain have had me pened down
lately.
Shot pretty good at 25 the one time I
had it out.Just to windy to try 50.
Hope to get some test'in done soon.

Went to range Thurs. Wind came up gusting 15 to 25 MPH.

50 yds.
bench.
10/22;
22" GM Sporter bbl.
VQ hammer
VQ extractor
WC buffer

Decided to just run some HV rnds. trough it to settle everything in. Dynapoints scattered all over. Fed. Lightnings put 50 rnds. in a hole about the size of a cartwheel silver dollar even in that wind. Can't wait to try this load on a calm day.

The GM Sporter barrels seem to be potentially as accurate as their bull bbls.

Those 22"ers can pack'em in there.

No reason the 16 1/2" can't do the same.

It's amaze'in how much different the
balance of a Deluxe Sporter stock feels
and handles with these two barrels.
