10 22 stock repair

Hello everyone. I have a 10 22 paddle stock with a Nickle size hole in the butt plate.Any solutions?

Welcome to Rimfire Central Badger, a picture would help.

From memory the 10/22 paddle stock is one piece Zytel (nylon) with no detachable butt plate is that correct?

Bondo and black ink, judicious sanding.

Thanks for the replies. It's a friend's rifle.No good stories just an abused 10/22

Clean thoroughly with alcohol and try JB Weld. Do this in 2 or 3 lifts to get the 'best' results.
