Hi New guy here, long time 22 shooter. Just bought the ruger copy of a m1 carbine. Been over ten years since
I owned a 10-22. This one just caught my eye . First off I should say I only shoot steel now . No paper and don't hunt other than varmint control. I live on a farm so it's nice to have a handy little rifle . This one came with the
peep sights to look like an original m1. Quick to pick up and fool proof. I believe Sampson makes them.
It comes with a long rail too. The stock is a rough finished nice walnut
Back to the little riffle , after a bath with LPS 1 . It was off to races . About 250 rounds of various manufacturers
Only one misfire, bulk Federal. And it fired after a 90 degree spin . My old ram line magazines worked but those new ruger ones are much smoother to load . It was one of those days I couldn't miss . My grandson has a stock
10-22. He burnt up the track with this riffle too. I found this sight on ruger parts and ordered one for him .
Nothing beats a good 22 rf except maybe a good 22 pistol .

That's a pretty cool version of the 10/22 and one of the few I would consider buying.

It was a little pricey, but almost worth it . I grew up shooting marlin 39s and this little riffle gives me a lot
Of joy . My other 22 companion is an old mark ll. The best part of these guns is that are a life time investment.
Now on to find a sling to fit this old arrangement.
mine looks similar to that middle one but my stock is lighter in color - what sights do you have on it - i have the NODAK SPUD front and rear ,
ive got that bottom one too in that same configuration , very nice ,
If I remember, Tech Sights.
