How about all Ruger? Ruger® 10/22® Target Autoloading Rifle Model 21186
You get a Lite threaded barrel and a BX-Trigger right out of the box.
Thanks for the link. I've been trying to decide which barrel to go with for the next upgrades on two 10/22's I've been working on. Already done Kidd bolt and trigger on one and Brimstone trigger and JWH bolt on the other, happy with the results, but it's time to take them to the next level with better stocks and barrels. I'd love to go with the best of the best, but cost is a factor for me, so looking for the best bang (pun intended) for the buck.
Good question and I probably need to take some measurements for the future. I don't benchrest, just an occasional sandbag when sighting in. Generally I'm satisfied if they'll hold 5 shots on a 3/4" paster at 50 yards with CCI SV. Grandkids use the rifles with Acculite barrels for 4H CMP Sporter Rifle competitions where the course of fire is 10 shots prone at 50 yards, 10 shots sitting at 50 yards, and 10 shots standing at 25 yards. Targets have a 7/8" x-ring and a 1 3/4" 10-ring. The 11 year old granddaughter shot a 293-14x at this year's state match, out of a possible 300-30x. If I remember correctly she lost 5 of her 7 points at the standing unsupported position. I need to put her on a bench and see what she can do.What kind of groups do you get from the acculites?
those are Raptors, and for the light bull barrels they are my favorite stock.. not from Boyds though...they were originally manufactured by Predator Gunstocks, then later by PWS, and now by Volquartsen (albiet at a much higher price)By the way crackedcornish Very nice collection there. How do you like those two bottom stocks. I guess they are Boyds, I like the same type with the thumb holes I have to try a few out before I decide.
I like what I see. How accurate are they? Have they been tested? Sorry about the questions, I haven’t done my research on them yet.
