So in my ruger 10/22 reciever the kidd barrel i ordered just kind of falls into receiver. But my volquartsen barrel fits snug as i feel it should has anyone ever seen kidd barrel shank or tenon be out of spec? Just seems odd if my ruger reciever was out the volquartsen barrel wouldnt fit snug...

Just purchased 2 of these and they will not allow the bolt to close on my 1996 vintage 10/22 model 01116. It catches on the rear of the metal insert and stops the bolt cold. The original 10 round rotary magazine works fine. Anyone experience this and what did you do?
