after some recommendations from some of the members here, I put a UTG 3-9X32 1" BugBuster on one of my nephews Compact builds and was pleasantly surprised by the scope, considering it's price point

so I went ahead and ordered another for me and a UTG 4-16X44 30mm Compact Scope for Compact in 17M2 build I'm doing...again nice scope for the $$ spent

it's no Leupold, but for $115 they aren't bad :)

I'm looking for a nice compact AO scope for one of the LVT for the next super stock 😁
the same time I ordered the Bug Busters for the kids, I picked up this UTG compact 4-16x44

I put it on my Compact 17Mach2 build...haven't really thoroughly tested it out yet, but just messing around with it, it seems pretty nice for the $$ spent

Heres the issue. The space between the rear sight and the action is very short, so you eithe have to go with a small scope like a 2x7 to be behind it or maybe a 3x9x32 to to clear the rear sight. Signalman is gonna tell you to buy a Weaver Grand slam, price but great. Or you could do what i did and use one of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KE2VY5E/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and thes rings https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071KWD3KR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have this scope on an old Marlin Model 60. Works well considering the price. No problems here with it.
