The first two will require fitting. It is not difficult, but does require regular checking. The difference between too tight, just right, and too loose is just a few file strokes. You want it to slip in easily enough that you aren't bending the barrel, yet tight enough to stay in.

Im have seen these 2 styles, my question is how well do they fit with the curve of the barrel or are that all flat? This gun is in really nice shape and I want the filler to be just as nice, I would rather not get something I need to file then cold blue.

I hope I can find a piece that will fir in with the correct curve to blend in with the barrel.

Went to the range this morning with my Tech-Sights installed on my anniversary 60. Much more accurate than I expected. Does anyone know what to plug the hole in my barrel with where the front sight was removed? A lead on a blue screw plug would be very helpful. Thank you.
The sight screw hole on my 60 is filled with a scope mount dummy screw from a Marlin 336 lever action. The rear dovetail is filled with a slot blank.

It happens with e-clips now and then, hasn't happened with my 60 but other e-clips have weaken and fell off or just fallen off due to shock, excessive heat or vibration.

You may want to find some 3/32" e-clips to replace yours just in case they're too weak to stay put.

I bought the blued Marble slot blank from Brownells for my 60 when I pulled the sights.

I am 95% completed with my 452 Carbine project. What I have done is taken a new bone stock 452 Scout and placed it in an orange beechwood Super BRNO 2500 stock, with a BRNO bottom metal unit and Tech-Sights. I have, per Tech-Sights' recommendation, removed the Scout front sight and installed a Tech-Sight front sight made for a Marlin. Required a D&T for one screw but looks good. I have the stock pillar bedded using a BRNO pillar. Looks very "Carbine-ish" so that is how I shall refer to it: 452 Carbine.

Need two things to complete and am asking for recommendations:

      1. I need a filler for the dovetail where the Scout rear sight was removed. I assume this is a European dovetail; does anyone know where I might get a blank filler?

      2. I need an appropriate sling to complete the "look". I'd like a dark tanned figured leather or an OD web (I think). Remember, it has to fit the SB sling fittings. Just looking for a carry sling, not a shooting sling.

      Thanks, all. Pictures when completed.
Tech Sight makes a very nice 1" copy of the G.I. web sling used on M1 Garands and M14's'. Click on Accessories at top of page, scroll down to M14 1 " sling, olive drab or black.

Try Brownell's for the filler, don't know if it will fit a CZ. Read the one review.
