Along these same lines, I tried out this clone budget bipod and was not disappointed for only $35Yea < I agree. Harris will get the job done but the ability to have 5 (or more) positions on the legs of a Atlas /Accu-tac (or their clones) is a big plus for me. I tend to run mine as shown in your picture and feel it adds additional stability since the weight of the rifle tends to consistently pre-load the bipod.
FWIW, I have a couple of Attlas Bipods ( V8/BT65CAL) but do feel that some brands/models of the clones are 90% as good. This one in particular is great for bench shooting. It's bigger, heavier and wider than most but stable as a cinder block.
