Cool gun! Was looking for one last week and found out about the unfortunate changes at Marlin. I can't answer any of your questions about the gun, but as for a sight... You might try the bushnell trs-25. I got one for $70 last week from Amazon. It's $80 this week unfortunately, but still a great deal with the 30 dollar rebate (shown below the price):

It's a really nice sight for the price. About 1/10th the Micro Aimpoint.:bthumb:

That might be a winner, I'll toss it in the wish list on Amazon. Thanks!

The Bushnell TRS25 is a solid red dot at around $60 if you
:yeahthat: I swap a TRS-25 between my MP9 9mm pistol and a 10/22, I'll pick up another one, one of these days. I use a Weaver rail on several different 10/22's, including the one I use the TRS-25 on, they fit good and are inexpensive...... :bthumb:

Nice addition to your collection there. I have a mark iv ss target and a mark iv 22/45 lite and they have both been a lot of fun so far. I have the williams fire sights on the ss target and the stock target sights on the lite. I prefer the target sights in good light but my 50yr old eyes prefer the fiber optic sights in low light conditions.

Is that a trs-25 on your lite and if so do you like it? I have one on 10/22 rifle and have been contemplating moving it to the pistol and getting a scope for the rifle.
Yes, it is a TRS-25. I have 4 of them on various pistols.
I do like them. They are made like tanks... very sturdy.
I thought since the MK IV Target doesn't come with a rail from the factory (so I'm told), I would go with a fiber optic front instead of buying a 5th TRS-25 and a rail.
You can find them on Amazon for around $50: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00200E0HM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A3661IV9TYJRTM&psc=1

I have a 50th anniversary model. I can't stand the sights. I don't know if it's my astigmatism, lack of lighting or what but I just cannot shoot with them.
Are the replaceable? What are some good options for replacement sights?
Easiest replacement would be a red dot sight, existing sights would not have to be removed. The Bushnell TRS-25 is available at an excellent price at $48.94. To mount the TRS-25 you need the base/ rail that came with your 10/22. The second option is a less costly BuySevenSide TRS-26 Red Dot at $21.99. I have Bushnell TRS-25 mounted on my wife's S&W MP22 Compact and she really l likes it. The BuySevenSide TRS-26 Red Dot Waterproof Unlimited Sight Rifle Scope at $21.99, I'm going to add one to an order an order I'm getting ready for Amazon, just to play around with.

For aperture sights the Tech Sights are very good, I have the TSR200 sights on a 10/22 I built up as a M1 Carbine. I used a Leapers UTG Tactical Sub Compact Rear Sight combined with a Tech Sight front sight on another 10/22. This combo I really like because I find the UTG sight is easier to adjust. You need the base/rail that came with the 10/22 to mount the UTG......:)

I have a TRS-25 on one of my 10/22's mounted using a Weaver base that I prefer instead of the standard base that comes with a new 10/22.
It was easy to sight in and I have never had a problem with it since its been on the rifle. Right now Amazon has a price that's hard to beat on the TRS-25......:bthumb:
The AT3 RD 50 is $30 more because it says Tactical on the side.
