How to sell my Suhl
I am going to sell the Suhl 150-1 that I got from Allans Armory a few weeks ago.
I would like to offer it to the people on this forum first before posting it in the "for sale" forum, but I don't want to break any rules or do anything that is not ethical.
So, is it legal to offer it here first or do I have to go through the other forum to sell it?

A
couple people asked what I wanted for the rifle but no one answered my original question which was: Is it OK to sell the rifle in this forum instead of listing it in the regular for sale area??

I don't think that'll fly... Instead you could say you have a rifle for sale and indicate where people can purchase it (link to it).

How did you list the last two rifles you sold on RFC? Maybe, list this one the same way.

Ok
makes sense. What I may do is get my ad ready and then post here with a link or just after I list it. I have received a lot of very good information from people here and I would just like to give them the first shot at the rifle...no pun intended...
Thanks.

You could pm those people indicating you are selling, giving them first right of refusal before offering to the general population........

Yes
I could do that, but then I would have to keep up with who posted what, when so I think I will just get an ad ready and post here that I am about to offer it for sale.
I think that would be simplier at least. Only one forum to look at for who posted first.

You are not allowed to post for sale ads in any other forum aside from the Trading Post. It's in the rules. You may post a pointer to your ad in the appropriate forum, simply stating you have one posted there.

Then
its a good thing I did not post it for sale.
And, I think we should all be on the lookout for those who do post firearms for sale in the regular forums. Just so we all follow the rules.
Thank you,
Hank
