Rimfire Technologies rails are HERE!!!

I contacted Bob (HotRod9mm) on September 20th about the possibility of making rails to fit the top grooved Urals. After a TON of pics, measurements, and emails between us he has a finished product. I have 2 of his rails designed specifically for the Ural. One is receiver length and the other extends past the front of the receiver to allow the scope to be moved forward for more eye relief.

These rails are not retrofits. They are designed from the ground up for the Ural. Fit and finish is top notch like all of his kit. The rail is 25moa so reaching out won’t be a problem. He offers engraving as an option. His price is MORE than reasonable for such a nice product.

The rails slide on with just a slight resistance. There is no wobble or slop. I like the fact that they are low and can keep the scope as low as possible to the bore yet are still 25moa.

In the pics you will also notice one of his bolt knobs. He will have those on his web site soon. The knob he sent HotIce wasn't threaded deep enough. The one he sent me was deeper and fit just right.

Here are the rails on his site: http://www.rimfiretechnologies.com/S...lts.asp?Cat=52

It is nice dealing with a company that actually listens to what the customer's wants...and then delivers................

Engraving is an option

Another great product from a great guy. Any chance that rails to fit the CM-2 (Adult, with only the rear receiver half grooved) are forthcoming? They are available from M Werks LLC but another choice is always nice...

I thought I would let him get a grip on this project and then ask him about that too. I think it would be an easy project for him.

I'm really excited how well this one turned out.

Any chance of something for the side-mount CM2's and Urals? I think that is what most people have.

baby steps, brother, baby steps.....

There's always a chance. He is a smart guy. If he is able to do it and there is a market for it I think he would be interested to hear about it.

I know on our working together went smoothly and he LISTENED to my input. He is going hunting for a week but when he gets back I'm sure he will see this post.

I have a rail mounted US Optics bubble that I left off of it for the pic. I was more concerned with showing the knob in that pic. First trip to the range the reticle will be leveled and tested with about 30moa dialed in.

I also didn't zero the scope from last time I shot it.

thanks,
Keith

wksinatl & HotRod9mm ... very impressive rail.
Kudos to the both of you - aom22.

By the way, what is the groove width the rail mounts on?

Rimfire Technologies CM-2 Cadet, 20 MOA base ?

Hotrod, Are you planning to make a CM-2 Cadet, 20 MOA, receiver length base? You might have a good market for one, especially if it could be used on the standard CM-2. I would be interested in one for my Cadet model.

At the time I did not have the funds for the project but it made me look.
Still don't have the funds but I'm trying to help where I can.

Where in ID?

I need to have one on the receivers to see what would be needed.

Lewiston, I work in Pullman. I do go to Spokane once in a while, maybe I can catch up with you and let you have a look at my Vostoc. I used to live at Newman Lake years ago, around the back side by the Blind Crossing.
