This looks like a Ural with a new or redone stock but the photo won't enlarge to show more detail.

Great link Galland. After reading that, I think that's probably a fair price.
I didn't realize that was a hand stop until I read the article and saw the picture there.
I just glanced at it and though it was sitting on a rest.
Anyway, sounds like that rifle may have been the cream of the crop for 100m shooting.
If I'd only won the lottery last week...

I've got the barrelled action.

The barrel was cut (from original 28" I think) to 16"
and it has been drilled and tapped for scope.

Also had a stock made for it.

Its more accurate than I can shoot it and that double set trigger is very nice.

I bet it can be set so light that you could almost blow on it to get it to fire.

Here's a few pics of mine:

That's just a beautiful rifle!
The only improvement that I can suggest is matching the quality of the rifle with a better scope.
But, if the BSA performs to your satisfaction then that's OK too.

I'm actually pretty pleased with the quality of the scope.
Bright and clear even at 24X

In original configuration it weighted about 14 lbs I think.
Not sure what mine weighs now.
I believe the barrel is about .8 or so in diameter.

Here's the MU-12 in action.

There was a small breeze and we were having wet snow so I was a bit chilled.

I could feel that I wasn't as solid as I could be so there is room for improvement.

Full box of laupa master m (5 shot groups) through the MU-12 at 50 yrds (half inch grid)

Here's another article on it:
