All Targets must be shot at a distance of 75 yards from the front of your shooting bench to qualify for "Club 75".....
No ammo restrictions, shoot with junk, or Eley Tennex, it's your choice, but again tell us what you used so it can be recorded.
You may enter with as many different rifles as you wish, but you will only get one listing per rifle. Should you wish to re-shoot for a better score, then your previous score will be deleted, and replaced with your latest, and hopefully better score. If you use a different ammo, that information will also be adjusted.
When submitting an entry, please include the brand and model of rifle used, and modifications you did to the rifle, wether you used iron sights, peep sights, or scope. If shooting with a scope please include the power rating.
As with all SS/B games a scan or photo of your target is required.
You must use the target choosen for this particular game, no other target will be accepted.
Here is a direct link, save the PDF file to your desktop so if that site ever goes down, you will always have the target file...
http://www.targetz.com/targetzlib/10142.pdf
As with all SS/B games, the target will print out on 8.5" X 11" paper, and as always card stock, or target stock paper is reccomended.
Ink Saver Option
Since the chosen target can be hard on your ink cartridge, here's an option that will save on ink. Download this target in red........
http://www.targetz.com/targetzlib/10143.pdf .......and print it in "grey scale", it will come out grey, it can be easily seen at 100 yards through a scope.
For those shooting iron sights, the black target is a better choice, or you may use a 6" solid black layover target to assist in seeing it at these distances.
The target has parcial crosshairs, if you are shooting with a scope and wish to complete the crosshairs you may, other than that no other markings within the bullseye are allowed, there's plenty of space in the margins to record your score and other information.
Scoring will be as such.....the white center circle will count as "10", the inner black ring will count as "9", the white ring as "8", and the outer black ring as "7".....
(since this is a "for Fun" game, there will be no "X" as they are used in official matches for a tie breaker)
10 shots and only 10 shots per target, if you need to use a sighter, then pin another target up next to the one you intend to shoot for score.
Every target has a possible score of 100, once you have achieved that goal with that particular rifle, that rifle may no longer play. You however can continue to shoot this game with another rifle until it too achieves a perfect score. If you achieve a perfect score at 75 yards then you are done at that distance, you may contiune with that same rifle until you achieve a perfect score at 100 yards, but once you and that particular rifle hits the 100 @ 100 mark, that rifle can no longer play....
Scoring will be by standard NRA rules, if a shot touches and breaks the line of a higher ring, then it counts as the higher score. A scoring gauge is helpful but not required. Should you wish to purchase either a .17, or .22 caliber scoring gauge, contact Mr. Joe Haller, he may still have a few for sale.
It is my intentions to make this game both fun and available to as many shooters here as possible, it is also my intentions to stimulate some of you to try the offical bench rest matches offered here at RFC. Please browse the "Match Forums" and check out the compition, there are USBR matches at 25 and 50 yards with divisions for most any rimfire rifle. The 50 yard iron sight matches sponsored by Joe Haller are also a whole lot of fun, and they have helped to advance my irons shooting in a big way. if you can keep them within the 9 and 10 rings here at 75 and 100 yards, just think how well you'll do shooting in those matches at 25 and 50 yards......
