rebarrel BB?

Anybody rebarrel the Biathlon Basic? I assume the barrel is pressed and pinned. I'd like to find a gunsmith who has done this before and is willing to do mine.

Thanks
Geoffrey

Here's your company then.

http://www.altiusguns.com/

Mine should be done either next month or Early April.

I'm having a heavy (no taper) 20" Lilja 1-9" twist barrel installed, threaded for a suppressor and painted along with the receiver plus an action tuning.

It's going to be...uh....several times what the gun cost me ($250 used) and I still don't have the stock finished yet.

Biathlon 7-4, 7-3 and 7-2 barrels are press fit with a bonding agent (engineering grade epoxy).
They are not pinned.

This thread will explain:

dumb question BB mag owners .. Convert .22Mag to .17 HMR -Safe? - Barrel: Press/Bond

Quote:
The barrel is epoxied in (from the factory). When the new barrel is installed, it is press fit in.
