Sobol Barrel Different than BB?

Is the barrel/chamber itself different for the Sobol as compared to the BB? Or perhaps the Sobol barrels are "sorted" from the BB's. The Sobol stock is very neat...I could probably do without the "chromed" toggle...the wooden toggle handle is interesting. I'm trying to determine if the "accuracy" is any different than the BB in an effort to justify the 2.5X the cost.

Sobol by Legion: Accuracy

Legion seems to imply a higher level of accuracy for their rifles.

But, I haven't seen any specified accuracy claim made by Legion that exceeded the standard accurracy claim made by Izhmash.

aom22...

Thanks for the feedback and I forgot to thank you for the pictures...I wish you'd quick it with these great pictures because they're "drawing-me-in".

Has anyone out there bought one of these and can comment as to whether the craftsmanship is as good as it looks/described?

Simply remove the flashy parts (toggle bolt and handle assembly).
Take the parts to a metal processing/welding/machine shop and have the items lightly, glass-bead blasted.

If properly done, light abrasive blasting will only remove a minute amount of the the protective finish (chrome, nickle or blue).
The resulting surface will have a subdued satin finish - frosted, lusterless, understated.

However, if you see a Legion rifle ... and, you want it ... you better buy it.
The TG Int website no-longer catalog's Legion rifles.
They may have a few still in-stock.
But, further importation of Legion rifles by TG Inc maybe in question.

I don't know anyone who owns a LEGION firearm.
But, your question sounds like it should be the basis for a new thread.
LEGION OWNERS: Tell us about your rifles and photos - please.

The last LEGION I saw for sale was:
Legion Sobol , .22lr target rifle, New Custom
The price has fallen from $995 (Buy Now) to $895, then $799.
Make an offer ... if you're serious.
And, definitely, let us know how you make-out.
