I was hired several months ago at Ruger and am in the woodworking department.. I'm a woodworking machinist in training basically.. It's been very cool so far and I would love to see people enjoying the rifles I spend so much time and energy to help produce to the best of my ability...

So please share pics and/or stories of your rifles I'd love to hear from you.

I am not sure how into detail I can get as far as production ect.. as I have signed legal documents for sensitive company information and insider trade techniques ect... but if you're curious about anything ask and I'll see if I can't get you an answer.

peacock.

Super stock

Misty blue

Peacock looks a lot better in the flesh its a two tone metalic blue and green .
Superstock has aluminium spacers and oak extensoins .
Misty blue was a stsandard stock with additional shaping .

tell ruger that the carbine stock needs some checkering or something ! mine is boring as heck ! a wally world special with a checkered walnut stock would have been sweet.

Hi Jus,

Ask them why they won't sell what the customer wants? ie: BRING BACK THE FINGERGROOVE!

A lot of us out here cry that Ruger no longer makes the fingergroove stock. These sell on the used market for up to $250 or more for just the stock!

Why can't Ruger at least make a limited production run of these and charge a premium for them?

Make it IDENTICAL to the original. Nice walnut. Inletted swivels. Grip cap. Note the difference in the grip cap area on these and the grip cap area of a current DSP model. That little up-cut behind the grip makes them look 100% better to me.

The only difference should be to make a version wide enough to accommodate a bull barrel.

You ever held one? It's one of the most comfortable stocks you'll ever shoulder.

These aren't mine, but the pic illustrates what I'm talking about.
