I built this stock for my wife and she has named it
Lady Lavender. I'm not sure I get the connection, but she says she named it that because she's "
going to show the boys how it's done". I updated
her first stock (click to view) by adding finger grooves, a thumbrest, and a rollover comb. I borrowed the barreled action from her silver benchrest (she's named that one "ET") for these pictures. This is an 18" stainless .920" GM barrel, PC mount, Burris Signature Zee high rings, and a Mueller Eraticator scope.
I had sent a pattern of the aluminum trim pieces to ChargerTom. He very generously cut these pieces on the waterjet cnc machine at his work. That saved me a ton of work......thanks a million Tom, I owe you.
