I recently acquired a Anschutz-Stevens Modell 1415/16 mgf in W. Germany in 1965 that has the Stevens 65 action

I cannot find any directions online or even youtube of how to properly execute a bolt disassembly. I even called Stevens and they punted as it is being too old.

Anyone here have suggestions or can point the right way? Thanks .

You may be referring to an Anschutz-Savage rifle. These were Savage produced rifles originally marketed in Germany by Anschutz. These rifles were not made by Anschutz. Savage sold Anschutz-made rifles in the US under the Savage-Anschutz banner.

Yes, it's a Savage made rifle imported by Anschutz for sale in Europe. Rifles that were made by Savage and marketed by Savage were marked "Anschutz-Savage" and Anschutz manufactured rifles sold by Savage in the US were marked "Savage-Anschutz".

However, despite being made by Savage Anschutz sold them and still lists them under "previous models" on their website.

You can go to the Anschutz web site at the link below and find that model under 22 l.r. previous products where you can then download, save & print the parts diagram. A careful study of it should help you figure out how to disassemble and re-assemble it.

Funny you should mention that

Stevens made a 22 mag in a model 65. I am unaware of any Stevens rifles marked Anschutz/Stevens.
There were some marked Anschutz/Savage
This one rolled in several day ago. There is no import stamp on it and I can only guess it was a service member "Bring back."
It was in pretty good shape but had lots of small scratches in the stock finish.
I redid it and deleted the white line spacer (I may put a new one in later)
I was going to take it and shoot it today for the first time but we had snow overnight.
I'm unsure what other Savage rifles were sold over there by Anschutz under Anschutz/Savage.
I think there were far more Anschutz models sold here under Savage/Anschutz.
Would love to see a picture of your rifle and it might help someone provide the info you are looking for.
