This 77/22 is from 1992. I bought it to emulate the M77RL that is from 1985.

The scope on the 77/22 is a 4XNikon Prostaff.

The scope on the M77 RL is a 3x9 Bushnell 3200 Elite Firefly. Firefly option has reticle that glows green for about fifteen minutes after shining a light through the eyepiece.

I think they pair well.

The M77 RL is .270 Win. It's been responsible for a lot of dead deer. Thanks for the kind words.

Had an RL in 243 back in the late 80s. Really regret letting that one go.It grouped ok for deer hunting with factory ammo and with a new reloading kit I was able to get it to shoot 3/4 groups with my varmint and deer loads. It was a neat, lightweight mountain gun
