So, was the boat paddle stock just put on stainless guns? Were any of the blued guns drilled for the ejector block for the boat paddle stock?

777/22....

quite a few years ago, i bought a new in box blued 77/22 (22LR) that came from the factory with a boat paddle stock...Cant remember the year, but i do recall the stock had the green stock panel inserts, like the early stainless models did.... Maybe a special run by one of the distributors?

See the link below, post #45 from Polter, My own personal tack driver. The boat paddle is the nickname for the Zytel synthetic stock. It seems folks either love it or hate it. I neither love nor hate mine, but I have come to appreciate its attributes.

wow really?

ever do any research on the stuff you are buying? Next you'll ask what is a finger groove.

use the search engine. It'll take all of about 13 seconds and will provide the answers you are looking for.

And Chillypeper - a "fingergroove" is a bit more self explanatory than calling a gun stock a "boat paddle".
