My CZ 452 American shoots 40 gr TMJ/FMJ better than anything other than the Hornady 30 gr For some reason my rifle just seems to dislike hollow points.

I use HP for varmints or anything I don't want to eat and the TMJ/FMJs for small game that I want to minimize damage to the tasty parts.

i use them exclusively for squirrel hunting out of my 452 lux since they dont damage meat.....extremely accurate and really whacks them good even on less then ideal shots.

They cycle in my Kel Tec PMR-30 excellently, and I like that pistol for carrying around my deer camp during the prep season for targets of opportunity - hogs, coyotes, feral dogs, armadillos and groundhogs.

The PMR for me, is SUPER accurate... 2017 will be my 1st hunting season owning one, and I just might carry mine as well when I have a big bore in hand or the same in long gun (Savage A-22WMR)....should be a hoot!

This ammunition shot poorly in my 455M (Mediocre), but shoots pretty well in my new RAR Stainless, it's not too bad. I wouldn't want to use it for prairie dogs, but it should do well on coons and, maybe, coyotes.
Truth be told, though, I'm still looking for a better shooting 40gr. JHP or softpoint. I really can't envision a use for the TMJ in daily use.
