Thanks for posting these. I'd like to do both events but I'm short on time and don't have a light rifle handy. I'm going to keep an eye out for the next ones. Are these once a year kind of things or more frequent?

This is actually one clinic/match. "T", "O", and "Tactical" classes are all run in one relay. If necessary (and there's time) we add a second relay.

We generally hold these Rimfire Sporter matches on the second Sunday of each month. We're shooting on the first Sunday this month because Easter falls on the second Sunday this year. These matches are run year round. We shoot on our indoor 50 ft range on the CMP reduced targets during the cold months. We'll be trying to shoot our first outdoor 50yd/25yd match of the year this Sunday. If the weather is no good then we'll shoot on the indoor range if we need to.

I just started shooting Rimfire Sporter last September and I really enjoy it. The targets are more generous than smallbore but you're shooting sporters so it evens out pretty good. The rapid fire stages are really fun and challenging too.

I'm shooting the USRA indoor (double) match on Saturday and then our match on Sunday. I think it's going to be a good shooting weekend for me. With silhouette season coming soon and all these rimfire sporter matches popping up in my area I think it's going to be a really good summer.
