Looking good Que. I like that action in that stock. Yeah little bondo and smooth out the action area and she will be good to go. I'm not sure how the trigger is but if it is simular to a Remington 511 in length and shape, you could use the 511 trigger guard. They are pretty cheap at Numrich.

Have we picked a finish color yet, or you still thinking that one out.....???

Gloss black with flames maybe.....

Here's an idea I haven't seen on a rifle stock yet Que.....a good old fashion Fender Stratocaster three color sunburst, now that would look cool, and I doubt anyone else will have one like it......

Tony I admit those are good ideas on the paint yet I just can't see dropping that kind of change on this when a rattle can will do the trick. thinking about doing "hammer-metal" rattle can from WM. got to make a butt plate and figure out a tg.
got a few holes to plug on the metal since it won't have sights on it. then I can prep and spray the metal a satin blk. a little trigger work and then it'll be ready to shoot.

The prob with the sunburst is the middle portion is clear. A brown in the middle would look cheesy.

I like the Danelectro colors a bit better. Lots of creams and cooler colors. And lipstick pickups!

There's always the 1980's Ibanez look.... neon pinks, greens, yellows, whites, and blacks!
