Stickies;

since there is NO moderator for this forum, only Admin can create
a sticky. maybe if Vince asks them nicely, they will create one so
everyone can keep adding to it. in the meantime, i just keep saving
them to my "target folder" on my "desktop",

Rico....

Time for another "BUMP TO THE TOP" for this thread........

We've been seeing a few new faces here at SuperStock Bolt, and I know of at least one more we may be seeing here real soon, so I saw a need to bump our official target thread back to the front page......

For those of you who are new to SS/B, start on the first page and post #1, view the links to targets that are posted here. If you wish to participate in any of the fun shooting games we have, it is a benefit to you as the shooter, and to those of us who must review, accept, or denie your entry.

It helps to have Adobe Acrobat Reader as most are posted in PDF format.

It is also reccomended that you print your targets on heavy paper as common computer paper is not good target material. I (and many others here) use 110 Lb. card stock, I prefer ivory, but white will also work. It is available at most all Office supply stores, and places like Wal-Mart, K-Mart, and Target stores.

Also...if anyone has any updated targets they'd like to post......

Funny you should bring this up Tony. I was just playing around with a target for the new 3/8 @ 50 game. The lines may not be heavy enough for those using lower powered scopes, but anyone is welcome to try it if they like.

The green dot is 3/8" to help give the shooter an idea if a shot goes out of bounds. That way you can stop wasting ammo........errr.......uhhhh.....ohhh.....I mean save ammo and start on another target.

Also remember that measuring goes from center to center, so that means as long as the bullet hole is centered on the edges of the green circle then you should be in the ball park.

EDIT: Dot does no good if you have your scope offset to keep your aiming point intact.

Another optional target for any of the games that you shoot for group size. Use the cross hairs inside the boxes as your aiming points, but adjust your scope where POI is approximately 1" high and 1" to the left. This will keep your aiming point intact which will hopefully help you to shrink your group size.

If 4 individual shots are required, use the 4 cross hairs below the boxes. They are arranged to provide for the offset of your scope as mentioned above.

HAPPY SHOOTING!!!

Brent ,Just wondered if you would post a target of three columns of five of the "Red bulls w/cross hairs" that are in the second target. I've got the Target Wizard program......apparently I'm more of a wizzer than a Wizard! Thanks, Mac
