But no *affordable* semi-autos?? If only Ruger would chamber the 17M2 in its MkIII pistol... that would be sweet!

Anschutz has a 17HMR bolt action handgun. Thompson/Contender also has single shots available.

They don't offer the HM2 conversion anymore. I'm not sure why. You do see them show up used occasionally.

Mach2 pistols

Kimber no longer makes their 1911 or conversion unit in 17M2. Supposedly they do not run well. We have had good function with CCI/Hornady ammo. Eley/Remington will not run any of the guns/conversions that I know of. My personnal 1911 in Mach2 has digested several thousand rounds(at least) with so little trouble it's not worth the mention.

If you know of any guns or conversions out there others would like to know where/who/phone#/ etc...................

Thanks for the replies. The pistols mentioned are out of my price range. I was secretly hoping that a Ruger MkIII existed that chambered the M2.

vq makes a conversion ofr the mkii.....but ti is a lot of money

S&W had the 647 in 17 Hummer. I like mine but, they are out of production now.

The New Ruger chager is a 1022 in pistol form could this be done in 17M2 ?
