Aww man, I see you went cheap and bought a "Spamvelope."

Much the same taste as from the can, but somewhat different texture.

Sorry to hear that, Dlong. Good friend of mine decided to take that way out last year.

After the potted meat, try them on some Vienna sausages out of the little can, cut into 1/2" slices fried up well in a pan then dump a can of baked beans on them and heat through.

Thank goodness Lorena Bobbitt didn't have one of those. JW wouldn't have been able to piece it back together.

Gotta go with what dlong said earlier.... As a born and raised North East Jersey kid I grew up on "Taylor Pork Roll". Cant get it out here in the southernmost boondocks of Illinois. Have friends send it to me every so often.

Spam was something my Mom made a spread out of with mayo, and sweet pickle relish. Wasn't bad for a kid. Now I do like to slice it thin and fry it and then serve it in a soft taco shell with a vinegar angle hair coleslaw and some home made dressing..... Not really bad at all.

Sorry, there is no way I could eat it cold from the can..... I'll gag for sure.

Check with some true Hawaiians. They can fix it more ways then one could imagine.
