Reminton 37 Sight Options
According to Messrs. Gyde & Marcot's most excellent book "Remington, 22 Rimfire Rifles",
the following sight options were available for the Model 37 from Remington directly:
o Introduction thru March 1953: Remington rear with Redfield front
o February 1939 thru March 1953: no rear with Redfield front
o February 1939 thru December 1953 (EOP): no rear with no front
o February 1939 thru sometime 1946: Wittek Vaver rear with Redfield front
o February 1939 thru sometime 1946: Marble Goss rear with Redfield front
o December 1950 thru December 1953 (EOP): Redfield Olympic rear with Redfield Olympic front
Only 2,519 rifles were sold from 1951 thru 1955 --- this would be the absolute maximum number
of rifles possibly equipped by the Remington factory with the Redfield Olympic sights.
These would most likely have been in the top of the serial number range, up to 12,198.
To answer your question directly, there was about a two year and four month production overlap when both sight combos
in question were available from the factory.
The Redfield Olympic sights were "introduced in the early 1940's" for retail sales
according to Nick Stroebel's "Old Gunsights and Rifle Scopes", and therefore
would have been available to be swapped or added by any owner after that.
Redfield International sights were not released until 1957, so they could not have been supplied
by Remington during Model 37 production.

(EOP: End of Production)
The Wittek Vaver and the Marbles Goss rear sights probably had a pretty short run in actuality,
given the WWII interruption.
(Post war sales may have just been using up sights on hand since before the war.)
