Thanks! However, ~$2K is a bit out of reach for my wallet right now.

Anybody here own or have handled the new(?) Rossi semi-auto WMR?
Also, is Excel Arms still making a .22 Mag rifle? They used to be on my short list for a semi-auto despite their quirks. Plus, 100% American made, I believe.

Check out the CZ 512s, they are pretty darned good. Like any and all .22 WMR autoloaders, keep the chambers clean and dry. It should serve you well, at a reasonable price.

I'd really like to hear some feedback on the Savage A22 Target model, but it doesn't seem there's reviews out there yet.

I didn't know Savage made a target model A22. I have a standard one and its very accurate with Hornady ammo.

The best semi auto 22 wmr I've used is a CZ 512, it handles any weight bullets and is a surprisingly accurate rifle.

I have three .22mags; Zephyr II bolt, Winchester 9422M, and my semi is the CZ 512.

I haven't shot any of them enough to comment on accuracy yet. I like the feel and the dependability of the 512. Not 100% crazy about the receiver metal thought.

If I didn't have a semi-WMR, I'd be looking at the CZ 611. Twice the money though.

The 512s grow on you. Mine has seemed to get better each time I go to the range, using ammo from the same lot, to keep things consistent. Long term, just keep the chamber clean, and shoot it.
Mine is looking pretty good, after a couple or three months, it's coming right along. CCI 40 HPs are danged good right now.

It is a Ray-Vin upper on an M&P lower I had sitting around.
