CZ 455 is a winner!

Thought I would post a few pics of my 455 17 HMR I bought 6 months ago. It's a generic model compared to most in this thread, but it has a nice handle, and with a Leupold VXII 4-12x40AO mounted in Burris Signature mediums it shoots really well. At 50 yds it keeps most 5 shot groups better than .5 if I do my part, and I've I shot a few in the .284 to .389 range. I did add the YoDave trigger kit, all creep was eliminated, and it breaks at 22 oz. All I can say is that I'm impressed. Thanks to everyone for the awesome posts I've been reading for months; all of them have helped point me in the right direction.

I think you have a fine looking piece of wood there! And the scope looks pretty nice too.

Nice.

I've been waiting for CZ USA to restock the 17hmr barrel to pick one up.

Nice pics and hardware Jherring,,.

Getting more and more tempted to swap out my 22 barrel for the 17 barrel that came with my 455 combo.

Did you put the J&P striker spring in it? I honestly can't tell you if it helped mine, because I put it in BEFORE I fired it...I seriously doubt I could have been happier with any other gun...to think I was originally looking for a pump or lever, gives me the heebee jeebees...

No J&P striker spring; stayed with the factory. Only change made was the YoDave trigger kit,and it did help some. Before the YoDave it was a 1/2" rifle, and now it's 1/2" or better. Up next is a 455 in 22LR, not interested in the switch barrel option at all; maybe I should get a 452 before they're all gone.
