Suhl 150 Std Stock "BR" Conversion

Ok, I picked up the early 150 stock to use on my 150-1 BR Silhouette project. WOW this thing has a ton of castoff. Anybody ever done any whittling on the butt to make it ride the bag straight ? Any pics ?

I think I will clamp it in the milling machine vise and see how much I would have to cut to get a 1/2" wide toe line that is inline with the bore.

Hmmm. The 150-1 I have coming is broken and repaired rather poorly. If I redid this repair and in the process eliminated the castoff...........hmmmm

Cant help, but you answered a question I had.
I was wondering if the 150 stock was as crooked as the 150-1, and it sounds like it is.

The 150 is not nearly as offset. Kinda looks correctable. There's enough width in the butt.
