I saw these in a flyer that SG Ammo sent me, and I thought of you, buckweet !
I'm also considering ordering a case. The GBs shoot pretty decent in all my rifles, not just the Remingtons.
With shipping a case would be $240, not much cheaper I guess than buying 4 Bucket o' Bullets of Goldens at Walmart or Sportsman's Warehouse.

I buy all my ammo at local shops. Support your local shops, if they close the noose tightens, the big box stores are not in your town, they do not have local voters, local employees. It is a false economy to save a couple of bucks buying online, those companies don't care about your town. A very good shop about 20 miles from me is closing, another about ten miles away closed a couple of years ago. Walmart doesn't care if you buy ammo at their stores, they'd rather not be in the business at all.

I don't buy ammo at Walmart. Almost all of the Mom and Pop gun shops around Flagstaff and Prescott have high prices and an attitude.
Like "This is how it is, take it or leave it".

The few that are friendly to all that come in the door and have reasonable prices, I'll do business with.
None of them however, have case pricing.

As an example, if I want some premium self defense pistol ammo, all of the LGS shops only have 20 round "boutique" boxes of Federal HST, Winchester Ranger, etc. and go for $20-$28 for a 20 (or 25) round box.
I bought a 500 round case of Winchester Bonded Ranger HP for $189 from SG Ammo. 10-50 round boxes for around $20 each after shipping.
They cost considerably less than the $1 or $1.50 per round that the LGS will charge, and I now have a good stock to last me a while.

Another example, I have 2 Ruger Mini-30's. All any of the LGS has are crap Tula.
I can get just about any brand from SG for case prices. Much better quality ammo for the same price or less.

Sportsmans Warehouse might be a "big box" store, but they are friendly, have a great selection, and give a 10% Veterans discount on anything I buy.

I'm not a pain in the butt customer, haven't had any words with the LGS employees, but unless you are their" buddy", they tend to treat most people who come through their door with disdain. When I am in their store browsing, I overhear the employees talking to other customers, and can't believe what I hear.
I'd fire an employee who talked down to customers like they do.
No use telling the owners about such behavior as often it is the owners who talk and act that way too
I refuse to deal with such a-holes just to patronize their business and help keep them going.

Maybe both of you are a little right and a little wrong. The LgS isn't paying lobbyists at the state and federal capitals to influence legislation, I'm sure the big online gun and ammo purveyors are. And yes the lgs is like a club, snooty and sometimes rude to non members. So is my local hardware store! But membership is easy , buy a cap with the the stores logo on it, they all have them, strike up a conversation or two, buy something, even if its on the clearance rack. And you're in . Stop by once a week , say hello. I even brought my lgs guys dinner. Be friendly the benefits are enormous. I had told them about a particular gun i was looking for and when a guy came in to sell one, they called me, and let me buy it straight from him in the store. He got more money, i paid less and got what i wanted .They got the FFL fee.Thatís customer service.

Do i still buy online, yep. The ammo and accessories are cheaper. But i buy my guns at the stores, on sale of course . Usually used, and haggled for

Walmart and Dicks and others that have turned their backs on the second amendment, i have no use for, but Cabelas, at least mine , has some good people working there, who live and vote in our community , and i patronize them too!

My car is full of caps, and i wear the right one into the right stores! Although, i have worn a Competitors cap into the lgs once or twice , just to tick my buddies off, and to remind them there are other stores happy to take my money. Once they asked me why are you wearing that? And when i told them theirs had been confiscated at the other store, they gave me a new cap!

Be friendly, it doesnt cost much, and always pays off!
